Dikeon In-Person Event & Attendance Vaccine Policy

1. Introduction

Dikeon prioritizes the health and safety of its employees, partners, and community. As a global company, we are committed to mitigating risks associated with communicable diseases, particularly COVID-19. This policy outlines Dikeon's requirements regarding vaccination for specific in-person activities.

2. Policy Scope & Requirement

To safeguard the well-being of all participants, Dikeon requires individuals attending company-sponsored in-person events, gatherings, or those whose roles necessitate physical presence in a Dikeon-designated office location or co-working space, to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

  • "Fully Vaccinated" means having received all recommended doses of a COVID-19 vaccine authorized for use by the World Health Organization (WHO) or relevant national health authorities, and having completed the waiting period after the final dose (typically two weeks).

3. Proof of Vaccination

Individuals covered by this policy will be required to provide valid proof of full vaccination to Dikeon's Human Resources department or designated representative prior to attending any in-person event or accessing a Dikeon-designated physical location. Acceptable forms of proof may include:

  • Official vaccination card or record.
  • Digital vaccination certificate.
  • Proof from a healthcare provider.

4. Exemptions & Accommodations

Dikeon recognizes that some individuals may be unable to be vaccinated due to legitimate medical reasons or sincerely held religious beliefs. In such cases, employees may request an exemption from this policy.

  • Request Process: Employees seeking an exemption must submit a formal request to the Human Resources department, providing necessary documentation (e.g., medical certification from a healthcare provider, written statement for religious belief).
  • Reasonable Accommodation: Dikeon will review all exemption requests on a case-by-case basis and engage in an interactive process to determine if a reasonable accommodation can be provided without posing an undue hardship to the company or a direct threat to the health and safety of others.
  • Alternative Measures: Individuals granted an exemption may be required to adhere to alternative safety measures, which could include, but are not limited to, regular COVID-19 testing (e.g., within 24-72 hours prior to an event or attendance), mask-wearing, social distancing, or other protective protocols as deemed necessary by Dikeon.

5. Confidentiality

All vaccination and exemption information provided to Dikeon will be treated as confidential and will only be used for the purposes of implementing and enforcing this policy, in compliance with applicable privacy laws.

6. Policy Review & Updates

This policy is subject to ongoing review and may be updated or modified by Dikeon as public health guidance, legal requirements, or business needs evolve. Employees will be notified of any significant changes.
