Alakanani Itireleng is a passionate blockchain educator, entrepreneur, and community builder from Botswana.  she  founded the  SatoshiCentre, one of Africa’s first blockchain hubs, where she has helped countless individuals learn about cryptocurrency, launch startups, and access transformative opportunities.

Since discovering Bitcoin in 2012, Alakanani has traveled the world as a respected speaker and advocate for financial inclusion, decentralization, and tech-driven innovation. Her work spans roles such as Lead Ambassador for Humaniq, a blockchain initiative focused on financial access for the unbanked, and Africa Director for Playbetr, now known as Betcoin, a major blockchain-based betting platform. She has also served in various marketing leadership roles across multiple blockchain companies.

Alakanani currently serves as Blockchain Financial Advisor for the CMC01 Project, an ambitious smart city initiative underway in Limpopo, South Africa. Her expertise plays a key role in shaping sustainable blockchain-driven financial models for the future of urban living.

She was also the Botswana Lead for the Mzansi Web3 ICP blockchain, supporting the development of decentralized solutions across Southern Africa.

As the Founder and Chief Visionary Officer of Dikeon, Alakanani is now focused on building compassionate technologies that reconnect people, empower communities, and spark meaningful social change.
